I’d forgotten about this little Spanish indie. But every once a while I get pluses on a Google+ post which shared a still from it, and after my long-ass analysis of El Tercero, I thought it was worth at least mentioning a movie which features non-simulated sex but is not necessarily sexier than Guerrero’s movie. I might have responded better if I’d gotten to know the two characters, Eloi & Biel, who play some version of themselves, I guess, or if I liked skinny twinks more. (That is a nice cock up above though.) The details of their personalities and lives we’ll just have to guess about, although there’s really no incentive to.
I could describe the introductory scenes that occur before the long sex scene between these two real-life lovers, but I’d be putting more effort in providing a narrative than the director did. Having said that, I think I enjoyed this more than I Want Your Love, probably because I found it more honest, as well as less pretentious.
It’s worth a look, and maybe a wank. Here are some stills, by no means all that I took:
