Will-o’-the-Wisp (Portuguese: Fogo-Fátuo) is a Portuguese musical romantic comedy film, directed by João Pedro Rodrigues and released in 2022. The film stars Mauro Costa as Alfredo, the crown prince of Portugal whose passion for the environment leads him to become a fireman, where he falls in love with colleague Afonso (André Cabral).
João Pedro Rodrigues’s latest film will end up in the top ten of my favorite gay movies and series for 2022. It was one of two movies I’ve recently felt compelled to clap for as the credits rolled.
