Lovingly mounted and acted, I found the Kung-fu Buddhism of Shaolin to be refreshing and unpretentiously cornball. But, give me cornball Buddhism over cornball Christianism any day.
Jackie Chan makes an unflashy but typically warm appearance and the sights and rather softcore fight scenes make this Chinese blockbuster worth a second viewing.
Bonus points for a temple full of hot monks.
