Every week I feature a full gay movie, usually something hard-to-find or relatively unknown. It might be a short or a documentary or it might be arty porn! Whatever I feel like sharing that week.
The movie will stream for only a week — no repeats — so check back often.
Donate if you wish or leave a comment anywhere and I’ll share my full collection with you for free. About 1.5 TB at the moment and growing every day. No lie.
Donate $25 or more and I’ll share my arthouse, gay porn, and wrestling collections with you, as well.
THIS WEEK’S FREE STREAMER: PROTEUS
I first saw this South-Africa-based, historical-political gay love story when I was living in Prague, and I loved it. I’d attended the screening with my fellow blogger Breeder Boy (where is he now?) and his love interest at the time, a young Slovak sweetie named Laco. (Laco was an exceptionally good kisser, not that I should know that.). Breeder Boy had never really encountered gay arthouse movies before, but he was teary-eyed by film’s end.
I completely understood that response, although the NYT’s Dave Kehr didn’t.
I’m not as fond of this film as I am of John Greyson‘s previous award-winning Lilies (available in my collection, too), but it’s certainly intimate, artful, and personal, and well worth discovering.
Wanna see a specific movie? Leave a suggestion in the comments. Please don’t say Call Me By Your Name, or any other film that might get me in trouble. 🙂
